What is GRC

Turning Imagination into Reality with GRC & FRP Innovation
Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC), also known as Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), is an advanced composite material that integrates glass fibers into a cement-based matrix. This combination enhances the material's strength, durability, and versatility, making it ideal for both architectural and structural applications.

At Stone King, we specialize in producing high-quality GRC products, including facades, cladding panels, decorative elements, and custom architectural features. Our GRC offerings are designed to meet the highest standards of performance and aesthetics. Our GRC offerings are designed to meet the highest standards of performance and aesthetics. What is GFRC

GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete), is a composite material made from Portland cement, fine aggregates, water, polymers, and alkali-resistant glass fibers. It is known for being significantly lighter than traditional precast concrete while offering excellent strength and durability. This makes GFRC ideal for architectural applications where weight reduction is important, such as in wall cladding, columns, cornices, and decorative panels. Its ability to be molded into detailed shapes allows it to replicate natural stone, wood, or other textures with high precision.

GFRC is also highly resistant to environmental elements like moisture, UV exposure, and fire, ensuring long-term performance in both interior and exterior settings. It is manufactured using methods like spray-up or premix techniques, depending on the project’s design requirements. For companies like Stone King, which specialize in architectural and decorative stonework, GFRC provides a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional stone, especially in projects requiring detailed finishes and easier installation.

FRP Technical Specifications

What is FRP

FRP is a lightweight, durable material made from fibers in a plastic resin.
FRP stands for Fiber Reinforced Polymer (or Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a strong yet lightweight composite material made by embedding high-strength fibers—such as glass, carbon, aramid, or basalt—in a polymer matrix, typically a thermosetting resin like epoxy, polyester, or vinyl ester. The fibers provide strength and stiffness, while the resin binds them together and protects them from environmental damage.

FRP is known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and design flexibility, making it a popular choice in industries like construction, aerospace, automotive, marine, and infrastructure repair. In construction, FRP is used to reinforce concrete structures, produce lightweight panels, or even as rebar in corrosive environments. Its ability to withstand moisture, chemicals, and UV exposure also makes it ideal for long-term applications in harsh environments.
